New databases in the Library!

We’ve added two databases to the Library’s webpages:
Cabell’s Directory of Publishing Opportunities
and
SciFinder Web
Cabell’s Directory of Publishing Opportunities helps researchers match their manuscripts with the scholarly journals which are most likely to publish those manuscripts. The searchable Directory provides contact information, review process data, manuscript specifications and guidelines, acceptance rates, and publication information for each journal.
SciFinder Web replaces the old SciFinder Scholar with a web-accessible system, so that it is now available from off campus for registered users. Articles, patents, book chapters, conference proceedings, and dissertations indexed by Chemical Abstracts Service from 1907 to the present are available for searching in SciFinder Web. Searching can be done by keyword, structure, reaction, chemical name or CAS Registry Number. First time users must create a user name and password using the following form from on the AUM campus: Scifinderweb New User Registration.
