SIRS Knowledge Source & Discoverer Databases

The SIRS databases are provided to us without cost through the Alabama Virtual Library. The materials in the databases support the School of Education in teacher training for students interested in teaching in the primary grades.Usage of the databases has declined during this year. The decline in Knowledge Source is 37%, and with Discoverer the decline is 60%. The number of articles accessed has also declined in each database, from 19% in Knowledge Source to 50% in Discoverer.
