This form may be used by faculty to schedule a library tour, general library orientation session, subject orientation session, or specialized instruction session related to specific research assignments for your class.

  • The professor is required to attend the session with his/her class. He/she will be able to offer valuable input during the session, and his/her presence will emphasize the necessity and value of mastering basic research skills.

  • Please notify us a week in advance for previously taught library instructions sessions and two weeks in advance for new library instruction sessions to insure the we can accomodate your request.

Submission of the Library Instruction Request Form is not a confirmation of a scheduled library instruction session. Barbara Hightower, Library Instruction Coordinator, or another member of Reference Services will contact you about your request to coordinate and confirm the scheduling of your session.
